This is a great overlay plaque that will welcome your holiday visitors (and that one special visitor!) throughout the Christmas season. The plaque itself is a nice, sturdy sign board made of 3/4" stock. The overlays show here on the sample are made of 1/8" maple, but would look nice in Baltic birch plywood or other thin hard wood. You could easily cut 3-4 sets of the overlay pieces at a time, making this a great candidate as a piece to offer at craft fairs or shows - or to give as gifts.
