SLD451 - Marshmallow Bunny Basket (scroll saw pattern & painting instructions)
I really had a great time making this fun little basket! Even though the design is simple, it is quite attractive - especially painted in the bright colors as shown. Or use some soft pastel colors, or even leave them in natural wood tones - maple for the light bunnies and a few “chocolate” (walnut) bunnies thrown into the mix. Let your imagination guide you! Just add a layer or two of DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint in complimentary colors, or clear (Ice Crystal) for natural wood, and your bunnies will look good enough to eat!
This is a wonderful project for someone who is newer to scroll sawing, and since the painting is only blocked in color, it is very EASY to make this little basket look spectacular! I included a couple of smaller sizes of bunnies for you to play around with. You can use them for basket fillers, little stand ups, ornaments or even as pendants. I hope you have as much fun making this project as I did!
(This pattern uses DecoArt Americana paints as the main paint for creating the project!)
