This intricate lighted Victorian fretwork clock is great for a bedroom where it can double as a night light or in a living room, where it is sure to get your guests' attention. The step-by-step instructions are clear, thorough and offer several options, including options for making the entire clock without a router or table saw if you don't have accest to them. For the colored glass you can use 1/16" to 1/8" thick colored plexiglass, or you can use glass stain such as this Decoart Glass Stain to color your own which will give many more colors to chose from (GLS04-Orange was used in the example). The clock fits a standard clock movement and uses a press-fit nightlight cord with a 4 watt bulb for lighting. This is an intermediate level scroll saw pattern.
